sean hernandez, a.k.a. chicago skyway presents * empty patterns* on emphasis recordings. in the past, chicago skyway has recorded for labels such as eargasmic recordings, m>o>s deep, uzuri, altered moods recordings, and machining dreams, to name a few. empty patterns is a collection of tracks named after empty, programmable user patterns founds in most modern sequencers, synthesizers, and drum machines. we can only speculate which instrument was used for these tracks. all tracks are dj tools and is geared towards djs and dance floors. lots of chicago jacking house style drum patterns and bass synth stabs, with added reverb and distortion for grit and color.

debut release from brian ring. raised in cork on a diet of us-american house music and disco oscillating between sylvester and glenn underground, while sneaking into clubs underaged (see sir henrys for further reference) ring was baptised by by david mancuso and theo parrish in london (thank you easyjet) while his record collection grew and grew. living in berlin now, an epiphany in some remote parts of australia (it was 42 degrees!) resulted in him following his own path in making music. so, here we go: the movements ep brings together mike dunn (sample has been cleared, folks), timothy leary and tee scott puts disco roller skates on heavy legged deep house and is most of all as much fun as it is sincere. all in a certain way that is personally his.

broken grooves are almost always present in arapus productions and pitfall is no different. with a trippy synth that goes all the way and effected voices to go along, this track rules the night and the whole a side.
two tracks found their way on the b side and their flavour is quite different. escape is a pure deep house gem, and a clear indication of arapus soulful influence. extremely danceable and super uplifting, this track brings the summer back. wasting on the other hand is dark and has a dirty broken tech groove. this track may seem toolish but it s a monster when it hits.
